Whilst looking at Rally Plates - noticed these guys do a different holder for production runs of 50

Also how about this as an idea if we have to complete a larger production run - with a larger initial cost why don't a few of us from each region agree to underwrite them and take a certain quota each - spreads the financial risk a bit .

Not sure how far this has got but my job is in print management and I have a supplier for just this sort of thing.

I'll email them and see how much low runs would cost and report back :)
 
ok, unless anybody else is volunteering i am going to step up to the challenge

anybody with good sources please pm me, if this is to be a goer then we need to find a company that can do small production runs

i don't want to end up having to but large quantities and end up out of pocket with loads of left overs

we should all agree not to have tax disc holders or tax discs, if enough people were brave enough to refuse to retax their vehicles as a protest against the rediculous price of fuel, the court system would grind to a halt, the government would have to wake up and take notice , what happened to ending labour's war on the motorist ? vive la france , will it happen ? no, we'll just carry on getting shafted :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

That would be really good to get a price from the members that have offered this :thumbsup: , as all the companies I have contacted are min order of 250 which bumps the price up loads, I havent found any yet which will do a lower run :cry: , but im sure if I do they will bump the cost per item up to similar prices of a 250 run.

fingers crossed we can find somewhere with reasonable prices!
 
I did a quick search about 3-4 pounds seems to be the going rate for Forum/owners club tax discs - I like the pricing structure the Guy on the Kuga forum has come up with the more you buy the lower the price

The Kuga one is nice, doesn't take much room up. If the members are interested in a similar one with the official logo on it that may work. I don't mind stumping up for larger print runs.
 
How about the official logo on the front the Z4 roundel on the back ?

The membership card design will be useful for people with newer cars as its a direct replacement for the BMW Dealer disc holder which allows the Assistance card to go in .

That might work, logo wise.

Not sure about the membership card idea as it does increase the space used. Not sure if it increases costs too, we'll have to see. I think we do need to keep costs down as much as possible as it'll be hard to shift a lot of these if the costs are too high.
 
Good news. I can get us 300 of these at no cost! Called in a favour from a supplier. They won't have the card slot on the back just the roundel on the front and the back. Have pmed Taz but I think the plan is I'll get them sent to him and all we'll charge is postage cost plus a donation to forum.
