Hi every one need some help.
still looking for my first zed but have to sell my E46 330 m-sport first , i guy othering me £3350 cash i have it advitised for £3750 on auto trader but was hoping for about £3500.
The car has 11800 miles and is pretty imaculate for the age (51 plate)full sevice history etc. in topaz blue.
Iam i being a little optimist for that money , iam very tempted because i will be closer to my zed but of coarse it would be less money for the new car .(plus 5 grand )The guy wants to come and have a look at it at the weekend so i sugested we talk then if hes still interested.I have only advitised for a week so i might be getting a little twitche.Should i hold out for the right money or snap hes hand off?
Any advise would be great.
 
£150 out is nothing bud :D I would, well i did :P

And were you on e46zone with that user name?

Na no idea im afraid, and no idea how the market is, but before xmas its never brilliant. If you want it sold then take the hit, but personally i would, but i hate selling cars :D
 
Me to chris sold loads of cars in the past but never gets any easyer

My problem is nows probley a good time to buy a zed I will have around the £8000 mark with a few hundred left over for tax ect . What should i exspect in that price range? Has to be 3.0 manual.Trouble is iam realy fusey, i like my cars pretty imaculate

Even at this time of year I think you'll be very lucky to find anyone desperate enough to part with a well-specced immaculate 3.0L for 8k

What i ment was i do like my cars spot on but dont mind putting the elbo greese to get them that way, so realy looking for a good base to work from .Plus the fun is adding all the extras and iam not to bothered about sat nav and parking sensors etc more the right colour and wheels :) rep i know the budget is tight but iam sure some one out there might need a quick sale.Plus keeping a eye on all the usual car sights they dont seem to be shifting very quickly.
 
I wouldn't hold out for £150, get it sold while someone has the cash to buy, with so many cars out there you could be waiting a while for a buyer, I used to be on the E46Zone, I sold my 330 'vert before buying the Z, you can pick them up for £8000 but you'll need to find a seller that really needs to sell and then haggle. Look on Gumtree there's usually a good deal to be found if your willing to travel
 
Is it just me or are these posts really difficult to read. I find it easier to read it out loud in a cockney accent :P

Thats what i was thinking , lets hope he turns up at the weekend down at me car lot ( i love you paaaaat ) :D

Peddy have notice that zed i think if iam correct he joined the forum with his first post car for sale, looks quite nice not quite what iam looking for but it would be a good compromise if it as good as he says.
Does any one know anything about this car ,or already had a look at it ?As it would be a bit of a distance to travel to see it would be nice if any ones got any info on it .
