Wow ! Shame the i3 doesn't sound like the M3
Wonder if it has an engine sound in the cabin?-remember Top Gear featuring an electric car of some sort that made an engine noise.

At least now Bing you can see why I want to get rid of mine!

That vid proves my theory that weight ruins performance more than anything else & because of the M3's torque delivery & only having fireworks at the top end most things can get away from you easily to start with...it did sound nice though but you don't get any of the sound in the cabin.

Well that's bollocks, because the i3 has a 0-60 time of about 7 seconds and only does 90. It's hard to tell how fast a car is going from inside, I'd hazard a guess that the M3 isn't even trying.

The i8 would give it a run for its money though, 4.5 seconds apparently :o

Video demonstrates an electric car is quick off the line to about 40ish mph no surprises there. Once no longer traction limited the M3 pushes ahead.

M3 slipped clutch changing into second - manual gearbox so probably trickier to get off the line cleanly without a traction control event :)

In the real world the i3 is probably quite a hoot for point and squirt urban driving and annoying London taxis in the congestion charging zone (Prius is great for out dragging them in a traffic light GP).
