I Wrapped My Side Indicator/ Repeater

For a bit of fun and the fact that my silver ones weren't exactly the newest looking, I decided to wrap them (well my brother in law had a go and it was his first attempt). I think it looks quite nice against a white car, what do you think?

Thanks for the comments. I posted a pic of my car on New Members Thread. Here’s a picture of it so far. I have 326M wheels to fit later this week.

Looks good - I like the side stripe thing on the sills too

Just me - but might look even better without the white text on the sill - is that removable maybe?

My OCD would have made me go with the exact same finish (is it matt black?) to match the sill sticker.

Thanks! I added the side strip which is also carbon a couple of weeks ago. The M and Performance stickers are additional stickers over the top that came with the kit. I also bought a similar set for my brother in law's Z4 including a bonnet strip. His is dark grey metallic, so he decided not to add the performance but just added the small M instead.

Personally in 2 minds about c/f wrap on the repeaters…gloss black IMHO probably a bit more classy..but the later LCI repeater much nicer than the ‘blob’ on earlier E89s..

Ditto the c/f spoiler .would look better colour matched..IMHO

Again each to their own..

I’m not a fan of the carbon fibre pattern. It’s kind of cliché. But it’s a nice change from chrome.

Mine was starting to look too much of a Batmobile. I went with Melbourne Red. The callipers are also red. And off with the sDrive35is badges.

Agree that removing the essay from the wings makes the cars look much tidier (and having a lowly 18i who wants to advertise that?).

It's still on trial. The rear Z4 is also painted Melbourne Red. Wifey likes it. And that's the only opinion that counts !

The sticker was only a tenner from Aliexpress. Why don't you give it a go and if you don't like it, just peel it off!
I might take the white lettering off soon, still undecided.
