:? Slightly Confused Nosa :?

If I have this right, which is highly unlikly, You currently have BBS, you are looking to swap them with either ///M wheels, or 108's, Is this with the intention of keeping your BBS for your new ///M?

Pretty much mate

the m has m wheels
si has bbs wheels
so bbs wheels go on the m
m wheels on the si

or

swap m wheels for 108's to help sell the si?

So question would you rather purchase a Zed with M alloys or 108's

Ahh haa,
If i was looking at a z now and it had 108's tbh i would immediatly start thinking about future corrosion issues, and costs of refurb, I like the look of both wheels so the ///M's would win it for me purely for the practicality advantage. plus the bonus of not having to faff around swapping one set for another to then just pass them on,
So voting for the ///M

I say 108s. To me, they are much more aggressive looking than the M wheel. which I know is odd, as the M has the big power advantage!

That would be a flip of the coin decision for me. Both look good. There's no clear winner here, IMO, and I have the 108s. I didn't vote, as it's too close to call and there was no "either is great" option.

I'm going to be different I dislike the 108's they are quite dated now

X2

Agree the 108's are looking very dated now, like tango indicators, very "70's Retro" IMHO. :fuelfire:
The M's would not be my first choice either, but they do look just that bit fresher, so it's the M's for me.

Get yourself some nice 166's, now, there's a proper wheel! :poke:

very relevant thread for me as:
a) my car is the one with the M wheels pictured and
b) i need to sell (london flat, 1 parking space, 2 seats not practical  ) . Not sure whether to stick the MV2's back on and sell the M wheels here/ebay or see if it gets a higher value with the M's and then flog the MV's..... :headbang:

Everyone who saw my car with MV2's and Ms said the M wheels suited the car better, took me forever to find a decent set with tyres so if i could have bought the car with the M's would have saved me alot of bother! hence my vote for Ms

M Wheels most definately, 108s just don't do it for me.
Will the Non M offsets of BBS be OK on the M? or are you looking to use spacers?

Have to say as someone looking for a 'Z' albeit the proper one :poke: I would want the 108's as they are the original wheel option for the car. I have always purchased and kept my cars as std. Buying a car with the wrong wheels on it wouldn't appeal to me + wouldn't want the insurance co. taking another chunk of cash because of them :headbang:

All this being said, it's your car & I guess you would have to buy a set of 108's which is all hassle. However you do like to change your cars regularly :D so do you want to be in the position one day that you want to sell the 'M' and don't have the original wheels for it. I'd say this is a more important factor that the issue with the Si

108 voted from me

The wheels came off a e90 m3 so I guess I find out on Saturday  , if not then the bbs ones will be going with the car.

M wheels fit a standard si , so I guess am hoping the bbs ones will fit?

Well us lot aren't much help 26:26 votes, an exact split down the middle.

108s just have an old fashioned look IMHO.

I just added a vote in favour of 108's to make it 26:27

I DO really like the M wheels, but on a non-M I'm really not a fan of the "stance" they give, i.e. how much the stick out compared to OEM offset. I do like the 108 design having originally had them on my Z4, but they'd have to be a lot more durable for me to ever have another set...

I think the problem is we know the ins and outs of them too well. From an outsiders point of view I'd say about 75% of potential buyers wouldnt know about the corrosion issues of 108s and this would sway the tie in their favour..

I agree with this

Ms for me I think.. 108's were nice but think they are just so common now on the Zeds..

They also remind me of the old TSW Alpines that people used to fit to the Novas back in the day

TSW Stealths I believe you mean, the Alpines used to curve in at the ends. The Stealths however are a much closer look

Antera 121s are almost exactly like the 108s though

I never ever read Max Power though
