Hi Guys,

Im new here, don't know why im on here really as currenty I don't have a Z4... :( but looking to purchase one asap! :evil:

just wondering, Im currenlty looking for a 3.0 one at the moment. What kind of price do I look for (avg) and are there any problems etc I should ask the seller.
I was going to purchase a S2000 but I do prefer the Z4! :D :D

Im currently selling my Focus ST 3 08 plate with Facelift

Comes with loads of extras!

If you know of anyone with a Z4 :driving: which has a 3.0l and would like to Swap P/X or just wants to purchase could you plllllease let me know!!! :evil:

What age car are you looking for - pretty much determines price.... Whats your budget etc?

Z4 is better than S2000 :evil:

ST is a great handler for FWD. Lovely straight 5 aswell. I had a Fiat coupe with a 5cyl engine and the growl was gorgeous.

The S2000 won't be a bad buy if you choose. I had one before my Z and loved aspects of it. The torque you have in the ST will be severly missed though!

We need a budget, spec requirements etc to get our teeth into...

I have a 3.0, the only thing which tends to go is the rear spring, apart from that as reliable as it gets.

Cant help you with the prices, as I dont tend to look, as i will get very depressed :(
 
Welcome to the forum. And no worries about not yet having a Zed... that's, in part, what forum are for. In fact, I wish I'd found this forum BEFORE I got mine (3.0Si coupe). I'd likely have held out longer for an ///M.

Being a stateside chap, I'll be of no help in your search, but wish you all the luck and best in finding your Zed.

As for the S2000, I always liked those and lament they are being given the axe by Honda (I don't believe there are "bad" or "better" cars, just bad or better drivers). In fact, a lot of new wheels that were planned may never see the light of day given the current economy.

Well only bought my ST about 10 months ago. Top spec with all bluetooth, climate contol, voice control etc etc etc zzzz
No problem with it at all but I just want a Soft Top as I was looking for an S2000 also.
I have made my mind up though and a Z4 is what im going to purchase if anything.

I want a 3.0 because it the same kind of level as a ST (as in 0-60) I wouldnt like to get the 2.0 and find it really slow if you get me (no offence)! The GRP insurance is the same also.

My last car was a VX220 Turbo and that was nuts so that is the reason I wouldnt buy one (just incase i write it off! lol) and I want something than a AUDI TT .... I had one and to tell you the truth I see one more than a Ford Fiesta!!! haha

I looking to sell at around the £14500 And I know I can pick up a very decent 3.0 for that price and even less. I don't mind about a hardtop as I have a garage. Im in no rush to sell but if I find one which I really like I will be purchasing!

Main facelift was 2006 I think. Some in 2005 had clear indicators instead of Orange I believe...
 
2006 onwards was the facelift, minor cosmetic changes; BUT new 3 litre engine, more power etc - its the one to get if you can afford it.
 
Glad you've decided to go for the Z4 over the S2000 :wink:

You'll love it, the only thing you will miss is the sexual noise of the turbo on your ST :P
