I have just come back from the Petrolhead Nirvana Welsh weekender tour, nearly 400 miles of fantastic driving roads, perfect weather and a diverse group of cars driven by some very talented people.
Ferrari 360 F1
MINI Countryman
BMW Z4m Coupe
Lamborghini Gallardo
Porsche 997
Porsche BoxsterS
BMW M3
Ferrari 360 spider
Porsche 996 turbo
BMW M3
MG TF
Lamborghini Gallardo
Ford Focus RS
Skoda VRS
Renault Clio V6
Ferrari 360 spider
I was surprised at how well the Z kept up with some of the more exotic machinery, although a tweaked M3 in the hands of a good driver is a thing to see. The Skoda was also not standard and was hard to keep up with, biggest surprise was the new big mini, it's pig ugly but it shifts and handles well, not able to keep up on long straights but through the twisty bits it had no problems.
I love my car now, very impressed it behaved all weekend, used no oil, just started and went where I pointed it, and to top off a fantastic weekend I'm at Bedford track this afternoon.
oh and today's top tip, Lambo's don't do cattle grids
