I used to like my Z4M coupe

I have just come back from the Petrolhead Nirvana Welsh weekender tour, nearly 400 miles of fantastic driving roads, perfect weather and a diverse group of cars driven by some very talented people.
Ferrari 360 F1
MINI Countryman
BMW Z4m Coupe
Lamborghini Gallardo
Porsche 997
Porsche BoxsterS
BMW M3
Ferrari 360 spider
Porsche 996 turbo
BMW M3
MG TF
Lamborghini Gallardo
Ford Focus RS
Skoda VRS
Renault Clio V6
Ferrari 360 spider
I was surprised at how well the Z kept up with some of the more exotic machinery, although a tweaked M3 in the hands of a good driver is a thing to see. The Skoda was also not standard and was hard to keep up with, biggest surprise was the new big mini, it's pig ugly but it shifts and handles well, not able to keep up on long straights but through the twisty bits it had no problems.
I love my car now, very impressed it behaved all weekend, used no oil, just started and went where I pointed it, and to top off a fantastic weekend I'm at Bedford track this afternoon.
oh and today's top tip, Lambo's don't do cattle grids :)

You were definitely in good company. There was a Skoda at our meet yesterday that was in front of me for a good while, similarly I had to think to keep up with it but I imagine the driver was absolutely wringing its neck.

I'm at Bedford later too with a few other chaps from here. Where are you travelling from as if it is south then we're meeting up at the services on the M1 at 1PM for some lunch and to convoy up!

Thanks for the offer but I'm in Milton Keynes so it's just over the M1 for me, il come over and say hello at the track, always nice to put faces to forumn names

Amaizing how fast a tuned oil burner can go. On Sunday there was a seriously prepped up 120d 5 door (only 1 seat inside, rol cage, semi slicks and 211 Bhp. Was the fastest thing that day ut the driver was semi pro too... :headbang:

How was the Z on long bumpy roads? Kills my back after 2 hrs

A couple of my friends were on that weekender, and really enjoyed it! Some fantastic cars by looking at their photos!

Photo,s will come but it will take a while as I'm away with work
I topped of the long weekend by giving the car a good thrashing around Bedford track on Monday evening, will deff do that again but I do need some tuition
Car was good all weekend no bad back and I could swear it runs smoother now. Why can't all weekends be like that
