Let me tell you a story...could be long and boring...
Coming home from Homecoming one fine year, we were on the I-10 in Texas. You know what they got on I-10 in Texas? Nothing, no overpasses to hide under, nothing. :| So, we were driving along when all of a sudden(yea I know, kind of hard to believe)it started to rain. Of course, we were going the speed limit, 80mph+some.

all was fine till the rain got so hard that I couldn't go fast enough. We were getting drenched and did I mention, no overpasses to pull over to get the top up? Oh yea, they got these signs on the bridges that say "slippery when wet". We found that out the hard way and had to slow down a bit. Of course the rain kept coming and we were drenched.

Finally, we pulled over to get the top up, laughing all the time, and soon after that, the rain let up.
Another time, I forget which state we were in :? , but we saw it coming and saw daylight just past it. Of course, we didn't calculate how bad it was going to rain and I am sure as we passed the police officer on the side of the road, he thought we were nuts.
Then again, there was that time in Michigan. This time, we did notice this very dark rain cloud and pulled over to put the top up. We were close to Lake Michigan and what we didn't realize was that those clouds were a Tornado. Yep, we found ourselves in the middle of a Tornado. That lifted the front of the car up a bit, but we were all fine.
Then there was that time when I was going to work and it strted to drizzle. By the time I got pulled over to an underpass(in California, we have those)it was pouring and I got drenched.
This all happened in the same 2003 Z4 that I managed to put 236K miles on before it got taken out by a Nissan.
