There's been a bit of consternation about this in a few threads I've been reading across the boards, so lets give it its own thread.
Z4 exhausts designed for the 03/04/05 pre-facelift models do fit the 06+ models and vice versa.
I've seen enough evidence to believe this myself, including being under both an 06 3.0si and my own 05 3.0i. A while back in this thread we speculated that the exhaust hanger positions were identical even though they use different hardware.
Now, with another Stebro exhaust thread 2 users have fitted the same exhaust on both a 2004 2.5i and a 2007 3.0si. That says conclusively enough for me that the supersprints, stebros, and others for the 05 - models will fit the facelift models, and the highline tuning and any future 'si' exhaust designs can be installed on a pre-facelift just as well.
I myself am still awaiting delivery of a Stebro exhuast for my 2005. Also, if you've got a cross-generation exhast story to tell, please add it on here.
