Afternoon
Newish owner here so be gentle.
Attempted to adjust my poor headlights, looking for a white adjustment screw at the back, but there’s nothing obvious there.
Searching for other images of headlights and I don’t think mind are Stock BMW.
Thoughts???

Yep, they'll be aftermarket Sonar headlights - I had two pairs on my old 3.0si. They're ok, first pair were missing some bungs so kept filling with water/condensation. I finally ended up getting replacements which were pretty decent tbf, but I made absolutely certain to fit them correctly and seal any potential leak areas.

Excellent. Many thanks for the info.
Now I’ve had a quick read up, did you stick with Halogen bulbs or go to HID?

I had hids in both of mine. First set were knackered after all the water ingress. 2nd set I spent time making the connections through the rear dust caps properly watertight so they were fine. They are projector lights so work well with hids :)

These are the beam adjusters on the rear of the Sonar 2Xcite headlights, up/down and left/right. Can't remember exactly but either 8 or 10mm spanner  115438681.jpg

Thanks for that.

I found this earlier, and in case anyone else stumbles down this path, it shows which adjuster does what.

I had just been fiddling with it in the dark, but I think I’ll leave it until I fit the upgraded halogen bulbs I have.
