When I get my replacement I'll be keeping an eye out for my current one. I reckon they'll just shift it on.
 
They'll probably sell it on to some unsuspecting poor sod then we'll see them on here asking what to do about the problems with their new car.

Looks like it. He said they we going to 'put it right'. Looks like they've changed them for the slightly less pronounced ones.
Or, as you so eloquently but correctly put it, slightly less sh1t ones!
 
Just been reading your old thread on the sensors. The ones they fitted originally look same as ones I just fitted to my daughters car and cost 12 quid and ok on a 8 grand car but dreadful on the Zed
Well done on your perseverance and nice to know I am not the only fussy bugger out there
 
There are a couple on autotrader with the horrible protruding sensors and they are 23is which if correct had the hill assist. Which means people actually paid for them.
As I am looking for a car, when I come across these I just move on as they put me off and have ruined the car :(

Pisses me off though that you can retrofit sensors but not cruise which should be easy and cheap like on Porsche and Audi/vw

Did the car have other problems? I wish I had £28k :) I just love the colour. I'm fairly sure Mrs Eds would say a definite NO to anything so bright on our drive though :D
 
a used car is always going to be significantly cheaper than a new one

i cant see the parking sensors, they should protude more :D :poke:

Looks like he's put the flatter ones on that stick out by about 1mm.

Absolutely no other problems on that car, i'd still have it if they had done what they promised in the first place.
 
I had a quick look at the spec I can't see PDC mentioned ...I may have missed it though as the Mrs was wanting the laptop :thumbsdown:

There's no mention of pdc in the ad. I can see them tho and they look like the smaller ones.
