I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself.

Names Del and I live in East Yorkshire (God's country) with my wife and 2 teenage daughters :headbang:

I have owned a BMW R1150GS motorbike (Long Way Down - Ewan Mcgregor) type.

So when it came to chopping our Smart Car Cabrio in we decided to keep to the BMW brand and brought a Z4 2.0i SE Roadster 2006 with just 16500 miles on the clock. Well what can I say - Awesomeeeeeeeee.

Now you might say it's not a very practical car for a family of 4 but that thought didn't cross my mind as we have a very economical 60mpg and £35 a year road tax Megane to ferry the brats about.

The Z4 will be an expensive toy for the wife and I as the girls tend to do their own thing (boring parents etc)

I will try and post some piccys but in briefg it's a Sterling Grey model with a black soft top and black cloth interior.

Roll on some dry weekends

welcome to the forum- be interested to see pics of the car- not seen many with the cloth seats!

Welcome to the forum. Agreed with Paddy, pics of cloth seats as there aren't many :)

Will try and take some piccies at the weekend.

Interesting about the lack of cloth seats in these cars. I suppose if you can afford to buy one brand new then the leather option is going to make much difference to the final cost.

Did see some leather seats on Fleabay but the wife reigned me in

Welcome to the forum  There's several of us on here that are into our bikes as well.
