Ok as title says,
i broke my screen on holiday still fuctional but looks crap.

If you ever get into London, these guys are based in Farringdon area and replaced my old 3G screen for about £50 and as I dropped it in personally, in about 5 minutes. Done quite a few others too since I spread the word back at work. Might be a cheaper option for you jonnyfive. Think they do a mail service too.

I have had a look on ebay and there,s plenty to chose from , which supplier did you use and do there come with instructions. :thumbsup:
 
I used a company in Guildford to fix mine before. Cost around £70. I'll give you the details tomorrow!

They are pretty much the same screens from £6 to £10 they get them shipped from china, Iv done 3 myself it's dead easy look on YouTube and see how easy it is!
 
Update , received replacement glass and tools today got home and set to work half an hour later bingo , job done .

Did have one panic put it all back together and could not get it to switch on :( then realised my battery was flat plug it in and hey presto :roll:

When replacing make sure the phone is switched off it goes funny otherwise! Glad it's working though! Easy hey
