The Porsche is a safer bet certainly & would be a better allrounder & hopefully it won't let you down...in the six years I had mine anything that could go wrong did, my biggest bill was £11k....in fact thinking about it I don't miss it at all! :rofl:

Basically yes! A full rebuild new crank cylinder head & clutch/slave cylinder, it broke my heart & wallet!paid that in 2009 & I never felt the same about it, it just annoyed me after that!

That is the rub with a TVR Cerbera relatively cheap to buy but not so to run! The chimaera is cheaper to run with the rover V8 in it, I should have gone for one of those first! :)

That was the problem for me too Darren, it caused me a serious financial headache & put me off buying another TVR hence why I have a lovely M in the garage now. :)

I'd love to own a TVR especially a Tuscan stunning cars. Only way I would though is if I could afford it as a second car certainly not a daily driver like my Z4 :driving:

I always had a second car when I had mine, if I had used the TVR as my daily I would have never got into work! :headbang:
