I love my Zed but.....

Just had 2 weeks back in the UK and the first thing (well the second actually...... Mrs J has her needs!*) was to get the Zed out. JOY but then..... a few miles down the road and that familair matallic sound from the rear offside. Yes the suspension spring had snapped. Down to the dealers and fitted while I waited (45 mins) and they did try to get me a goodwill payment from BMW but on a 5 year old car no chance. Up and running again and a quick lap around thew North Yorkshire Moors - heaven (well actually the heavens opened but what can you expect in the UK in June). Next day and would she start NO WAY. Battery check showed a knackered battery..... yes back to the dealers. Now all is well. AND on both purchases - battery and spring plus fit 10% discount for BMW Club membership. Oh the joy of owning a Zed.......

*Shopping at Sainsburys......

Still nowhere near the costs of a Sainsburys shopping spree :)

I have the cars on battery tenders when it is not used for more then a day or so. Do you have yours connected whilst you are away?
