I have a confession to make...

...I only pressed the Sport button for the first time today, after 456 miles of ownership

I blame it on not being able to see the button when I'm driving, as it is obscured by my knee.

Please forgive me? Promise to keep it turned on every time I start the car from now onwards?

press it whilst you have the accelerator pedal halfway down, feels funny

then turn it off and realise what you've been missing.

I will have to do that first thing in the morning :D

I can't imagine driving the Zed without it. There is no steering feedback and I find myself dangerously close to stalling the car due to insufficient throttle input. I've learned - albeit the hard way - to avoid kangarooing in stop-start traffic with the Sport mode on, and I cannot switch back to flooring it hard in the non-sport.

In old cars, we used to make the "acceleration pulley" mod, which gave more power at the slightest tap of the foot.

Sure, some complain that the power delivery in the Sport mode is not linear (a lot at the beginning, then smoother, as one of the forum Members exemplified in a diagram), but that was the case in the modded jalopies I remember.

I also find it difficult to adapt to the 'adaptive throttle' in the non-sport mode. The car changes its characteristics after some downtown traffic driving, and it takes either a reset or some serious hooning to bring it back to life.

Sport mode all the way, at least it's predictable!

I there I was thinking you were about to burst into a Foo Fighters song

Mandatory on - during a hoon

Mandatory off - driving in London's rush-hour stop start traffic

Traffic light Grand Prix starts are awesome in the dry with Sport mode and DTC (one press). Love it when you hit that sweet spot with a near perfect launch with minimal wheelspin...

THIS is why I have a 15min journey to work and only get 20mpg... (There's 4 sets of traffic lights...)

Now I have best of you going round and round in my head!
This isn't going to be helped by the fact at least 4 CDs in my changer are foo's
Could be worse
