I got my first tattoo! *Pics Inside*

Theres a guy I see quite often at my local weekly shopping establishment, (I better rephrase that) with all his head tattoed including face, its actually quite frightening to look at but also you just can't help but stare, if anything its takes some b**ls but I often think when the time comes when he completely regrets it.

Was surprised to see Dimbleby with a Scorpian tattoo :o

Tim.

Face tattoos I still don't understand.
However I have just over 10 I think and I've got a half arm sleeve, waiting for money to get it finished and for it to then be a full sleeve.

Everyone has a different opinion I suppose. People without could say we all look horrible etc and it's offensive, people with them could say the rest look boring without anything on their skin! Lol.

If I wasn't working in HR and the fact that if I moved jobs to somewhere else they might not take me on (where I am now is very laid back) I would get them on my fingers too.

Each to their own!

Each to their own agreed but its fashionable at present that's what is driving the current tattoos market.

Bit like having a white car with white wheels in the 80's but you wouldn't want that look today..........

Might be a time limited thing for those that don't do it for a life changing experience like military or similar. Up for discussion......
As a long as I don't have to pay taxes or NI to get them removed in the future, but I guess I will.

I got my first one last year. It's the sun and stars from the Philippine flag on my chest. I'd have more if I could find art that meant something to me.

+1

I always wanted one, but never could decide what to have or where to put it. Also had to be in a place that is not visible. Then about 10 years ago I had the Chinese characters for my wife and my son's names tattooed vertically at the base of my neck between my shoulder blades - Mrs B has a matching tattoo with the symbols for my name and my son's. Nobody can see them most of the time and even when they're visible only I know what they mean. I'd love another / more, but they'd have to have some meaning to me and be unique.

Love the look of natural skin too much myself.

Don't mind what people do to themselves though as long as they don't mind me laughing at some of the ridiculous ones I see especially when they fade with age and just look like dirt from a distance.

Like others here have said, if it costs me nothing because it doesn't make the person unemployable or they incur medical bills later on down the line we pay for, I care not :)

Most ex-military types I know wisely hide their tatoos when going for interviews.

Not for me...... Sorry......

Pierced ears from the late 70's are embarrassing enough theses days....... :o
