I fancy one of these next!!

I used to live just down the road from their factor in Belper. Derbys.

Not really Landrovers at all and at one point I recall LR tried to stop them. They built specialist vehicles and used a few panels from old Landies and RR. Relationship is close today but you won't finad anything JLR branded on their cars or site

Oh - yes I've driven a few too in the course of my off road career. Scary bits of kit at full chat on a gravel track, mostly airborne.

The seven looks like a toy car compared to that monster Bowler, awesome

That looks like an amazing piece of kit!! Anyone reckon those front number plates are angled enough to evade average speed cameras? :scratchhead:

Much closer ties between these two since last year...

Under the agreement, "Powered by Land Rover" badging on Bowler's competition cars and across its marketing materials acknowledges the role that Land Rover technology plays in the performance and race success of Bowler products. The "Powered by Land Rover" branding will also be highlighted in joint event and promotional activities.

Bowler will benefit from access to components - powertrain and chassis engineering in particular - and technical and development support from Land Rover. In addition, the agreement provides a secured piece of ongoing parts business and allows Land Rover's engineers to stretch themselves creatively and technically on an extreme performance-orientated programme that brings further knowledge to the core road-going Land Rover range.

Land Rover also sponsored and trailed on Facebook quite extensively the Bowler Wildcat Race to Recovery team.

Big fan of hese, though my wallet couldn't afford the fuel bills with the mileage I like to do

You see, this is the difference on this forum! I posted the same clips on the babyRR forum expecting them to say WOW and all I got was a "Who would want to spend that much on a Range Rover Sport lookalike??"

:?

:tumbleweed:

This was by a guy who sold his Evoque to go back to a Freelander because he missed sitting higher up!!??? :o

We are obviously NOT singing from the same sheet here!! :P

And you expected what from the JLR brigade?

They can get Victoria Beckham to design their cars but they will still largely be bought by people who wear sports jackets, slacks and like beige.

This.

Although, having seen the new F-Type recently, I may just hold off with J from JLR :poke:

We are not going to have to set up our own JLR section over here are we.

To be honest the best of that set of sites I find is Disco 3 - the technical know how on their is breathtaking .

That's because if you own a disco you have to be pretty handy with a set of spanners and a mig welder.
