Usually the interest is insane doing it monthly (anything up to 50%) so it can be cheaper paying by credit card and then paying that car off monthly (at a lower rate)
Wow! I never realized that insurance was so much across the water! I saw on Top Gear where they got insurance as if they were 17 yr old! :thumbsdown:
My Wrangler actually cost more than the Z. $100 (full coverage) vs. $60 (full coverage). I guess they factor in the fact that the Jeep has zero airbags! Haha

Woots,that does seem v v expnsv,even at 20. u should def shop around more(and dont tell them u r a stunt driver in your spare time,haha)
or u could try getting your mum or dad/older family member to go onto a multicar policy with admiral(or some others);I did this along with my gf' and her car/ins at dif dates/brought my policy on my z4 down from 590 to 360,and my gf was £200 cheaper on her ibiza sport 2.0,(and put your mum/dad on it too/sholuld help bring it down.)
also,i insured a modified cavlr turbo(hi grpn) when 19/20,for only £700;which wld be about £1600 now,aprox

Is a coupe a lower insurance cost than a ragtop nowadays?
(I bought my first V6 Capri because the Triumph Spitfire I was going to get was double the insurance rate )
Coupe is 1 insurance lower than Roadster in UK (IG18 vs IG19 under old system).
