I didn't know the 8 function buttons are touch sensitive

I only found this out by accident. I was resting my finger over one and a message popped up on screen telling me to hold it down to set the function. I then noticed brushing my finger over them without pressing brings up the assigned functions.

Yup, works using the same tech as touch sensitive screens on phones and tablets etc. cool on the professional system as a light touch brings up what the button is assigned to and then a hard push performs the function.

Lol I must be anal as I read most of the Z4 manual when I got the car and had these buttons programmed as soon as I read about them. Mine have such things as BMW online, tone, close/open display, traffic display, night/day display, split screen on/off etc. I have voice control do everything else...
