Program on Channel 5 reminded of me of a time when I was so big I couldn't fit in a Z4 (comfortably). I even remembers trying in a showroom when it come or soon after.

I've put a few lbs on recently but will ditch these in no time.

I was 23 stone and 5'11" when I was 30 so had a complete lifestyle change, diet & gym. Lost 8 stone, that was 19 years ago and I now fluctuate between 15 and a half to 16 stone which for my build isn't too bad.

Great effort, it's not easy!

I was over 15St when in Uni. Went on my years industrial training and came back about 11 st.

Was 11 stone when I got married 13 yrs ago.

Now I am 20st6lb. About 5 ft 9.

Fat - but I fit ok in my Z!!!!

I am 5'7" and was about 12 stone till my late 20s thanks to excess muscle due to playing lots of rugby when younger... Most of the muscle is still there but buried under additional insulation and I'm now about 15 1/2 stone most of the time. I find my seat fits perfectly :P

Well done on shedding so much, that takes dedication and perseverance. Didn't seem to be hurting your popularity though

Losing so much weight was life changing for me, so much more confident and feel I can do anything I want.

Thin/regular/normal people take things for grated like been able to walk into any shop and buy anything they like, because it will fit. This simply isn't possible when your big.

I write this whilst wearing a pair of my diesel jeans, something that was a goal of mine when I started to lose weight. I can now buy 34" waste in most makes :).

i'm 10 stone wet and 10 stone dry, I easily fit in the zed but the peddles are quite a stretch for me :headbang:

Never had any trouble fitting in a Z. Never been massivly over weight but I did get up to 19 stone a few years back, though being 6'4" no one ever realy noticed. I have got back down to 15 to 16 these days and feel so much better for it. Well done all.

Well done Popey!
How did you go about it? Diet, exercise, a combo of both?

This maybe controversial but I used the Cambridge Diet (have a google). It worked well for me. Then it was a combo of personal trainer and gym.

Today I just live life as a normal person, eat as best I can and don't train as much as I probably should lol.

However I'm not putting any more back on so will be cutting back after this weekend (my bday weekend).
