I cleaned my car

Gave my car a six month proper clean then took it out to the countryside for some photos. Attention paid to the new wheels which I haven't specifically shown since going on. M wheels (sans badges) painted by Lepsons in dark anthracite :D

The bigger pics were my favourites. Anyway, here they are, hope you enjoy them:

For the wax spotters out there, I used...
Megs Gold Class Shampoo
FORGOT: AG Intense Tar Remover
Megs Clay kit
Megs Polish (GC)
Rince with water (left over night)
Poorboys Diamond White
Dodo Juice Rainforest Rub
AG Tyre Dressing
AG Metal Polish
Zymol Leather Cleaner

Thanks chaps. It was nice to get some pics with decent reflections - of the 150 photos taken half must have had the paint looking quite flat. Maybe if I hadn't left my Dummies Guide at home. Doh.

Steve, thanks for pointing that out - edited in Photobucket quickly (except the one in the puddle). Although I do wonder why I bother now, with all the mods it should be too hard to prove my innocence if the plate is cloned.

I like shots 3 and 5 shame not more of the car in the reflection, but that's easy for me to say.

Just given mine a good detail as well, but wont take any pics until next weekend on the Kent/Sussex meet. (If it happens)

Actually, I did try moving the car around, but the ground was muddy and the carpet was getting filthy, so I cut my losses.

The clean was overdue, but yeah, got it done now so it just needs a rinse off before (said with some optimism) I leave for the meet next Sunday :driving:

Great shots! Nature seems to the the 'in' theme atm!

The wheels look great too - love the colour

in the words of terry tibbs - beautiful !

loving the 4 pipes at the rear, and the smokey alloys. very nice.

very nice indeed

Love those tail lights, and the anthracite wheels work really well with your black-backed headlights.

Joe.

Lovely set of complementary mods
Thank you sir... had I not made it to the Aebous meet it may still look stock, certainly from the back

gidge2010, no problem - cost me a little under £250 for the 4. Felt a little guilty, were in great condition when I got them from Tony (mmm-five). They look good (IMO) and the finish is amazing! All wheels are acid dipped as a standard, and small dings are removed (in the price), finish is very tough. They take pride in their work too... mate picked them up for me and the guys were stood around admiring their handy work (on mine :D ). If you search for Lepsons on here you'll find DaveG's wheels, excellent job!

Z4 KiD, have a look at the Lights link in my signature. However, IIRC with a 3.0 your's will have the silver inners and be harder to find, and if you have xenons then you'll be needed a cut and shut a la CJ. Dreamer did manage to do his dismantling from the outside in, through the back cover :o If you have halogens and were to go for the ones with black inners it will give the appearance of a lesser engine (although on a silver car I'd have still done it).

Rest of you, thanks for the kind words... more so given the standard of your own cars 8)
