Its not my fault if I have to park right up agaist the pavement  ( :oldman: parking )

Whoop time to refurb in either smoked chrome, or get them vibration polished. (and add alloycators hahahaha)

Holy moly! Not sure Alloygaitors would have prevented that curbing damage :o

They worked on my old car :) however didnt have RimProtect tyres on that one, wonder if alloygators will fit with the tyre rim protector poking out. hmmm

Bloody hell, did you hear the curb and just keep driving? Wheels look a bit under-rubbered too. Maybe get some tyres with more rim protection/a width up

It really is the narrow road, you have to litterally park as close as possible to the kerb otherwise I will lose my wing mirror, and risk a full length scratch down the side from the next van to attempt a delivery lol.

What doesnt help is the kerb, they recently replaced nice old kerb stones that leaned away from the road surface to those new sharp ones that lean into the road surface..

old style kerb

new stupid kerb

Im actually thinking about doing that old trick of putting a piece of wood up agaist the kerb lol

Ouch - save the wheels and fold the mirror in (even if you have to do it manually)!

You missed a bit down at the bottom! Sorry not funny, it’s always the worst feeling learning a wheel.

flippin heck! I got a tiny nick in one of mine & I was gutted. Now I just leave the old 103s on all the time

Would you like me to take those old Alpina wheels off yours hands Fran

Spent far to long today choosing what colour to refurbish my wheels, and the winner is shadow chrome :)

Went the whole gamit from bright orange (i know, i know, moment of madness lol) to black, to gunmetal, to fully polished, but I think shadow chrome is the winner as I keep going back to it over and over again.

Is there any point getting them refurbed. Sounds like it could very easily happen again

I was just wondering the same thing, Taz. After all the effort to get them refurb'd (at no small cost), you'd be more than a bit peeved to go straight in and kerb them again :headbang:
