I agree, and still ride my motorcyle during the winter months (no snow or salt), it does have heated grips and i have a heated Gerbing's jacket that i wear under my leathers, i left out heading to Daytona back in March in 20 degree weather. In the Z with the windows up, heat and seats on high, wool hat its not to bad, I also bought an adapter so i can plug in the Gerbing heated jacket in the cig lighter, on a nice sunny 35 degree day its not a bad place to be :thumbsup: :rofl:

But the DC metropolitan area winters are no comparison to you guys up north in Canada :driving:

The idea is you fill your pockets with them the next time your'e out for some fun,

Personally, I wouldn't have the willpower to refrain from flogging the Zed if I had put it into hibernation. Too difficult.

i had to trade in my truck to get my z4mc. gonna go with snow tires this winter, courtesy of Caddyshack. i live and work downtown, so i don't need a daily driver. i figure i can drive the car on nice days and rent when i need a car in lousy weather. next year, i'm gonna get an old truck as a winter car. btw, downtown Toronto is supposed to get up to 10 C today.
 
That's so sad.
We don't get any snow here, but we will (hopefully) be getting some rain.
I'd be happy to take care of your M Coupe for the winter. I promise to give it lots of exercise, and occasionally take it to the track to let it really stretch its legs.

Or you could point a webcam at it in the garage, at least you could always be watching it... as it hibernates. Would that help? or hurt?

Or you could move south.

The other question I had was about the tires. I have the summer Conti's on mine and they suck below 7C. I am not interested in getting snow tires for the Z.... What do you guys do about tires??

I'm trying to wear the RFTs out still so I have an excuse to replace them with F1s!!!!
