I have a BMW 545e. I can't comment on the Merc. but if you want comfort you can have it with any manufacturer, if you pay for it. My car is a plug-in and will do 26 miles on a full charge. That doesn't sound a lot but I use it 5 days a week and have not put petrol in it since June. Very comfortable, very quiet, relaxing with a Bower and Wilkins sound system. As I said you get what you pay for. I have absolutely no regrets getting a plug-in hybrid. Oh, I nearly forgot, it also has a 3 litre straight six petrol engine.Stevo1987 said:Thinking about an E class hybrid - E350e. Any thoughts? I am looking for comfort hence the Merc.
I am thinking about a 3 year car nothing to do with company transport. I probably won't do that many miles in it. I don't want anything 'sporty'. It needs to soak up the bumps because of my wife's condition. That's if I ever manage to get her into a car again.pvr said:I ordered the fully electric one and not hybryd because of tax reasons only, but that is my business / personal decision. I have never done a business car purchase so this is the first one - but fully company tax deductable and 1 % BIK makes the savings (personal) to something like 25k over the life of the car.

I usually get about 350 m/tank plus electric range.bigwinn said:k755 said:+1 on the 330e. Easily get 28/30 miles on electric and 50+mpg on a long run.Car has done 12000 m and at least a third on electric. Would also recommend Octopus energy for cheap overnight charging.
how you finding the full tank range? I'm used to a tank being 500-600 miles on the current diesel?
Full tank range gives you about 430 miles +30 on electricity. But it does depend on how heavy you are with your right foot Stuart.bigwinn said:k755 said:+1 on the 330e. I get it Stuart. So you should get at least 300 miles between fill-ups. :wink:bigwinn said:IRD said:Full tank range gives you about 430 miles +30 on electricity.
