Hi All,

I'm on the hunt for an airbag module for my 2003 BMW z4.
Mine is corroded which I hear is a common problem.

I've tried posting on some Facebook forums but they appear to just be scammers there.
If anyone could assist it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm located in Melbourne Australia.

Thanks in advance :-)

Does anyone know if I'd be able to use a module with the code 65776962767?

What would I need to do to make it compatible?

Sorry mate, I have no idea about compatibility.. but yeah that does like s**t on toast. Unless you’re living right near the beach how does that get like that, considering the airbag modular lives near the ebrake? I have. Module for a z4mc, if that’s compatible, your welcome to it.

Thanks All. Not sure why I didn't get a notification of a response.
Bigwinn....Do you know if the process to code a new module is more difficult if the numbers don't align? Or is it just the same process either way?

I've found a module with the code 65776938264 but not sure if its more difficult to make compatible for my z4?

This firm may be able to repair your existing unit https://www.autotronics.co.uk/product/bmw-airbag-module-crash-data-repair

Sadly no

I have spoken to these guys numerous times and every time it’s a ‘cannot repair’ response
