I'd heard good things about these guys last year and have since used them myself, twice. While tyres and simple jobs are done (albeit on a random served basis it would appear, regardless of making an appointment...), tracking I was not impressed with. Wheel balancing was wrong twice and the alignment done was clearly wrong as they re-positioned one strut over to the left, meaning unbelievable bump steer!
As VRSteve suggested my new go to servicing place (Walkers) I would be inclined to trust his suggestion of Station View Garage.

Mines booked in with Station View for its alignment and MOT on Friday...........they actually moved my appointment to a different day because the mechanic who is fanatical wasn't in on the day I originally wanted!

I need to get mine done having fitted new bits and bobs recently - what's the chaps name, Steve? I'll try and get in in the next few weeks.

I can't remember the mechanics name but the guy i dealt with was Paul, they've always made a point of putting this particular guy on my car because its an M.

No worries, will ask after that and use the above reasoning about Elite Tyres.

I'll find out his name Friday and let you know!

Took my Z4MR there before xmas to have the realignment done. They looked at the car for 15 mins then called me to say it really wasn't worth them doing it. Someone previously had heated up/rounded off the adjustment area of both front control arms and whilst it may be possible to get the car almost perfect using grips and brute force, it wouldn't stay that way for long. Recommended changing both sides with BMW parts.
Had the parts fitted last weekend and then aligned.......different car! Can't believe I'd put up with it for so long. Wondering now if I've ever had it as good as it feels now. Much nicer to drive.
Ok, it wasn't ideal to have such a large bill to fix it, but I can definitely feel the difference and the guys really knew their stuff when taking me through how they had set the car up.
