Hunter alignment in Manchester/Cheshire?

Can anyone recommend, from personal experience, somewhere for full Hunter alignment within easy reach of South Manchester?

A search of the forum throws up AwesomeGTI and Infiniti Stockport - but those posts are both old and I'd prefer a more recent recommendation. Especially as when I phoned Awesome (a VAG specialist), they said they could do Hunter alignment on zeds, but not the front camber because they don't have the right tool...

The thing is to find somewhere that actually understands alignment and uses the equipment to get the result, not simply follow what the computer/spec sheet says to do. I had a wayward SLK aligned at Wheels In Motion - what a transformation! He knew what he was doing and was happy to go beyond Merc specs to get it. But they're in Buckinghamshire, and that's a long way from Manchester when you have two cars to take!!

In Liverpool, top job on my car, it was well out.

I use a guy called MLM motors now.. Its not Hunter, its a Snap on Aligner but he will adjust to whatever spec you require.

We have used him for a few race car and track day car set ups.

We did use Infiniti, they are very good and very knowledgeable but never used non OE spec with them.

I used Infinity Stockport for my M and they got it spot on but as Gaz says I don’t know if they’ll go out of spec, be worth a call as I found them very good. Or just who Gaz says.... :P

I use DP Tyres in Wigan, just off M6 Jct.25. Genuine Hunter equipment. Have taken my Z4 twice and my mothers old 318ti. Proper job and very reasonable price

Nigel Langs Bolton and Drury Lane Chadderton are two I see mentioned a lot.
Both of them let me down with mine, shame really as I'd previously used Drury Lane for years

How so? Used Langs a couple of times with no complaints

I'd used Drury Lane for years before I took my E85 in but I'd always just had standard specs. On this occasion we had agreed before hand they were going to do custom specs to what I wanted, which was basically the M setup with maximum available camber on the front. Alarm bells starting ringing when they I got there and they said they'd never done an E85 before, but given that they're basically E46's under the skin and the numerous E46's that must of been through the place (including two of mine) over the years I thought it wouldn't be an issue. Long story short it was. Firstly they didn't know the camber was adjustable on either the front or rear and I tried to explain to them how to do it. They then failed to get any of the spec to anything near what I wanted as they they keep telling me it was "outside the green" on screen. In the end I was that fed up I just paid and left with standard 3.0i toe and camber specs as they seemed incapable of doing what I actually wanted. I took the car straight to my mates garage and on the ramp with wheels off I could see they had not even tried to adjust the rear camber, I got a spanner and easily adjusted the rear cam bolt, why they couldn't do this simple task after having it explained to them is beyond me.

After Drury Lane's epic failure I took it to Nigel Langs next. I booked it in and twice they phoned me to cancel and rearrange the day before which was annoying, when I finally did get to go there I arrived first thing to be told the tech was a no show and had been off for a few days previous. They then asked me to wait while they tried to get hold of him which I did but after 45 mins of being told nothing further I just got up and left. As I was driving off someone came running out and flagged me down asking me to wait saying "we're still trying to get hold of him" but by then I'd more than had enough.
