Hunt for e85/86 in the SE Kent

Hi everyone, I am new here but any help with my search would be amazing.

Ideally I'm looking for the following-
  • Black, white or dark grey
  • Post facelift
  • 3L (possibly 2.5L)
  • Manual

I am located in the SE (Canterbury/Dover) so something local would be ideal, I'd love a coupe but understand they are harder to come by and are more expensive than the roadster.

If anyone has anything or can point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks for the help.

Hi
A friend of mine who lives in Ramsgate will be selling his 2.5 roadster in Techno Violet.

That sounds intriguing and perfect location, please let me know if there are any more details available.

I’ll pm you his details

2.5's are much more available than 3.0's as the si.
Ive been looking for a while and there is a dearth of lower mileage 3.0si's at the moment.

Super cheap for a 2.5Si, suspiciously so. The power figure quoted is for a pre-lci 2.5i, so this might be the low powered 2.5i, rather than a Si. Perhaps it is a bargain though.

Putting the reg in Parkers says its a 2.5si with 214bhp.

Car tax check says the co2 is 202 g/km

Hard to tell looking at the badges from the wing in the photos.

Looks like one of the front calipers isn't working, the car probably wants a bit of tlc overall tbh.

It was a CAT N in 2019!

Now why doesn’t that surprise me.

Wow thank you all for the information on that, really fast work looking into that.
I am still keeping my eye out to see my options, someone has reached out to me privately last week that looks like it could be a winner.

I have nothing against category cars, but really annoys me that sellers do not always declare this

I thought the law required you had to TBH.

Hi, What's your budget?

I have a 2006 2.5si Sport in silver, 73k miles that I'm on the fence about selling since buying a 630 convertible.
Based in East Sussex, so not far.

Possibly as a retailer/ trader not sure if you do as a private seller though
