Hi all as said after 5 years away from the beloved Z4 I have bought myself a nice Black 06 2.5 Si.

Within seconds I realised what I had missed about this cracking car, and even managed to get the bigger engine this time. So can all you lovely folk please help me with a few things, :-

As mine is B/Toothless I intend to refit my Parrott 9200 which was easy in my old 3 series. Has anyone any good tips on this please.Found that on here thanks

Also, it seems the car has been parked up and the roof may need a good clean, is there a tried and trusted list of things I should do please.

Window rattle when door is closed.

The 2.5 makes a lovely sound, not figured out the Sport button yet but I will have a play in next few days.

Hope I dont miss the B/tooth, autolight/wipers,cupholders and streaming from the iphone which I had got used to. This is a proper drivers car.

Hi Hugh welcome back. I have just cleaned mine using autoglym roof cleaner and sealer and has come up really well just followed instructions on pack and water just runs off after the sealing is done

One other thing, slight fogging in headlight when cleaning cant recall if I had that with my 2.0 back then. Could the hot weather and cold water be the problem or have I found my first to do job.

Stick you pics up on a hosting sight. eg Photobucket, then insert them into your post using the Img brackets.

Hi and welcome back.

I had a rattle in my driver's door and established from the folk on here that I needed to cover the cable from the locking piece as it that which was rattling. I never got around to doing this - mainly because I don't have the first idea as to how to get the door card off.

Anyway, the last time I cleaned the leather on the seats I remembered to clean the door cards as well and to my surprise, no more rattles! That was 3 months ago! Worth a try?
