Huge puncture!

Picked up a puncture Monday morning. Suddenly felt something not feel right on the back end and then a couple of minutes later ping! Red light :thumbsdown: Took the rear wheel off today and sticking out of the tyre is an enormous wheel balance weight. Trouble is it's right where the tread joins the sidewall so assume its cream crackered !
Had a look on camskill and vred Vorti's are on offer at the moment. Anyone rate these over the Sesantas ?

Well tyre man "he say no" so I've had to put a used RFT on for the time being as I want to change all four tyres to none RFT's at the same time. Funny watching the tyre guy struggling with this very stiff side-walled tyre. Hate the thought of no history used tyres so it's steady Eddie from now on till I change them :thumbsdown:

Cant comment on how good vred vortis are over the sessantas, though the vortis supersede them. I've had them fitted all round last month, they transform the car over the RFTs I had previously.
