HUD for E89

anyone using a HUD with a E89? I'm looking at the Hudway drive but i'm not sure it will fit.
any advice appriciated.

Have always fancied an hud and the Hudway isn't expennsive. Like you, though, I wonder if it will be usable in front of what seems to be a low windscreen.

i can attest that the Hudway cast does not fit. the windscreen is too sloped to accommodate it. I've also purchased a hudway glass and hudway drive. i'll post pics if they fit.

Hi OP
I’ve been using a hud for about a month now and absolutely love it .it’s a great little add on toy in my opinion . Tried to take a still from a video I did but it’s come out fuzzy. Don’t let this sway you, it’s perfect in reality DDCB7678-7806-4B8B-A3B1-185E30A4FB17.png

The plastic film adhering to the windscreen is a bit tacky...I think there are some that work without that?

is the film what it projects onto? I assumed it somehow just bounced off the screen but ive not checked the angles..

Spurred on by this article I did a bit of research…the. vast majority ‘need’ this film to work…some seem to not require it..they seem to have more of an extended bezel that aids the projection / optimises the image …

Think the plastic disc is to stop any distortion on the projection…I didn’t like it on the windscreen so went without it , I personally think it’s fine without. Others might not think so . But for what it costs, it’s worth a look, if it’s not for you… send it back
