You are correct in your assumption. We tried out a 335d with HUD when we bought the 330d. The factory fit is by far the best but the aftermarket one isn’t too bad. The car we bought had all the other options we wanted so we compromised over the HUD. When we change the 330d we will certainly be looking for a factory fit HUD on the new car. But that won’t be for a while yet. Not if I want to avoid a divorce!

Ps. The trick is when it comes to the time to change, make the suggestion then leave it until the idea matures in her mind - then she makes the suggestion to change.:thumbsup:

Managed that the last time. We had 3 cars and only the 2 of us at home. ‘She Who Must Be Obeyed’ suggested part-exchanging 2 for a new BMW, less tax,insurance, general upkeep. Worked a treat. So now we have the 330d and the recently acquired E89. No complaints at the moment.

+1 yeah looks really good. A quick search on Amazon brought up Chudleys dog food :rofl: Hopefully the wife will be making the annual (shopping) trip to see her sister in NYC this November :evil:

There are lots for sale on Amazon and EBay but looking at reviews the projection type all seem to have problems with ghosting. Some claim not to but the reviews contradict this. I’ll keep looking i’m Sure I ‘ll find something in the end.
