I solved the sunglasses issue by getting a second medical box of a member on here and screwing it under the drivers seat. Can't be seen, really easy to get to and enough room for glasses, cap and a quick snack!!

You're the second person to mention that. The first aid kit on US models is just a vinyl pouch in the trunk (boot). I found this http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-Z4-M_Roadster-S54_3.2L/Interior/First_Aid_Kit/ES1928374/ but $80 is a bit steep for a sunglasses holder! (although, if I can devise a proper, quick-release lock, it would be a dandy place to stow my handgun)
