How will we cope with the on-comming newbie swarm?

Perhaps we should have a 'welcome pack' for all newbies ... with the most frequently asked questions with links to the relevant posts ... :?

PhilDZ4 you are just worried those young guys with no job and all summer to do nothing will make a run at your postcount. :poke:

Now that's a kick-@ss idea!!!!! Any volunteers to put this together? It would be as easy as putting together a Word document with all the FAQs and links to the threads and just emailing it to them with their confirmation email. Or you could just create a new sticky thread with it all in the Newbs section and lock it out so no new posts can be made to it but it can be read and the links are active and the mods could edit/add to it when appropriate.

I'd volunteer, but I'm just too lazy and not all that smart on all the mods 'n stuff.

Well let's see:
"I can fly this multi-million dollar government issue aircraft around the world, refuel other aircraft in pitch darkness, and did I mention I am an O-3? But I am not all that smart on all the mods 'n stuff."

Initiation is going to be special for you CPT.

 I can't know everything about everything. I'm an operator, not an engineer or mechanic.

P.S. It's a few more than just multi-million, in 1986 dollars it cost $88.6 million. :P
