How wet ?

I find it quite an amusing way to startle any passenger you may have at the time!

When I had my TF i stayed more or less totally dry with the hood down in moderate rain if travelling above 40mph. In proper lashing, torrential rain I've stayed mostly dry at 70mph.

I also switch the lights off before washing the screen lol

Generally I find the speed of the traffic is inversely proportional to the strength of the rain. :x

You also get wet if you do this in a Coupe, with the window down, and I've done it more than once :roll:

Got some funny looks on the M25 when driving though a pretty heavy downpour with the lid down. Unsafe to stop and I wasn't getting wet anyway

Am I the only one who switches the lights off first to avoid the bonnet spray?

Me too also worried about losing a cover and as for windscreen half a pull here.

even when it rains you wont get wet in a z4 as long as you keep driving fast!

just dont stop!
