I'm sure everybody has seen all the crazy motorway racing videos from the US and I'm sure you have seen the "their all stupid and reckless" ones too. But this is how we do it down here in Texas. No harm done to Innocent's, no disruption of traffic, and organized :thumbsup: :driving:

When I say I attend the local street racing events here I don't mean the passing cars on the freeway going 100+ mph at night, type of street racing. Those are the arrogant and down right idiotic street racing events I despise. Don't get me wrong their a great watch but I don't condone it.

I hope this video gives some of you a clear understanding as to what your neighbors on the other side of the pond mean by street racing and how were not all ignorant and oblivious to others. :thumbsdown:

and who says our American friends don't do irony :wink:

thankfully it didn't feature the usual racist windbag rednecks (only joking) that usually appear these videos. Why not book a drag raceway slot or even better a track day WITH BENDS. Excitement was raised by the prospect of the Nitro blowing up when pea-brain attacked it with a gas torch but after that it's an epic fail :thumbsdown:

well if I had to guess it is the excitement of knowing you could be in serious trouble and the adrenaline of knowing this. I guess we see things differently over here. But at the same time states vary for laws on racing. Some (California) I believe if your caught racing they tow your vehicle and crush it. Or in other states they tow it, you go to jail. In the end its just the fun you can only really enjoy by being there your self to truly enjoy.

I know they/we could just save it for the track but there isn't as much adrenaline from it. or the "legal street racing nights" are canceled due to rain. Or they are doing something else instead of drags that day. Not to mention the fact that the closest thing we have to a track day is auto cross going through cone courses in an empty parking lot..
