How to use a ctek 5.0t charger

Hi

I have a battery showing 12.2v and a few years old.
Should I just use a normal charge or should I use a recondition mode charge to try and restore its strength ?

Will the normal mode recondition anyway ?

Will a reconditon mode take longer than Normal mode and does it drain all the power from the battery before recharging ?

Thanks for any advice.
 
I am no electrical man, but a 12v battery showing 12.2v seems good - I would just use normal charge. They are great wee chargers, recovered my very flat one on the diesel van, thankfully!
