How do I upload avatars for my profile pic ? Keeps telling me it's too large. Just copying the photobucket link. No idea how to make it smaller

No tried my laptop too ! Nothing. Says the avatar has been changed !

I Clicked on the image and saved then use new sized image.
Don't know if that's right but has worked.
