You really do need to read some of your posts, as I'm sure they aren't 'banter' all the time.
Most of your posts are very informative, and I'd say you were one of the most knowledgable people on here regarding zed issues but you're also one of the power snobs who look down on others.
I might be being over sensitive here but I will have my say back, I'm not one of these people to let it go (maybe that's why me and Carol clashed all that time ago, which is all forgotten by us two by the way).

I have noticed, both before joining and in the short time I've been on the forum that Maniac does take his knowledge to his head. Pity he wasn't wise as well as knowledgable and he wouldn't rub people up the wrong way. I've noticed people getting excited about things they are doing and Maniac will throw in a downer.

Oh and by the way I have DCT and drive it with the paddles in manual

The DCT is a great box and in manual you get the heel'n'toe burp as it goes down the gears. Sounds great

Charming Quad... really. I've been nothing but helpful to you. I am reading this you know... there's little need to talk about me in the third person. I'm quite interested in the topics that people are excited about but I 'throw in a downer'? As for the 'you get one on every forum' quote, that was quite unnecessary... you should perhaps review the time and input I've put into this forum before taking sides... a poor practice in any event.

This all seems to have become a personal go at Maniac when my original post was not targeted at anyone. So fickle... I won't be taking sides, backing down, shutting up or changing any opinions by the way, for anyone. I should not have to walk on eggshells keeping everyone happy.

A wise man once said that taking offence brings more harm into the world than giving offence. If people didn't take un-aimed opinions so seriously as a personal attack, this would be a non issue.

All this fuss over something that really is of no significance to problems in real life, from a person that has done his best to support others and over something that was never a direct attack from me upon anyone else... Quite intriguing really. Sure we all have bad days, I've gone and continue to go through some bad personal family circumstances which may colour how I feel but then that's me just like you are you. You've both made something personal that was not.

Instead of swearing (Lux) and personal attacks (Quad)... The floor is yours to suggest a positive outcome to this thread. If anyone cares.
