How to take a leather sample

Anyone know where to take a small sample of leather from an M seat- I want to get a colour match with Imola leather in the Z4M
 
No! Don't cut your leather. Go up B&Q and get some of the colour match cards that look similar and compare to get it spot on.
 
Does the door leather wrap around the back of back door card? If so that might work for you.
 
Found a spot today - pull out drivers seat swab on M Seat- the leather that pulls out with it has a seam on the underside with some lose leather on it which I could clip a small fleck from ( think CSI in terms of size) - on its way to gliptone .

One you get the right colour i'd be tempted to know too as i need imola for my seats too!

I'll drop them a mail and ask them to add it to their database - are you sure yours is Imola I thought it was Dream Red in non Ms - slightly different colour and I think Swifty has got a colour match for that.
 
Mines the bi colour so imola and anthracite.

Liquid leather were very friendly when i mailed them but still wanted a colour sample!
