How to secure car wheels (alloys) in a van

Not sure if anyone has experience with this? I've got my tyres removed ready for taking to refurbishers and I've got a second set for the R53 ready to go as well. So that's 8 wheels in total. I've got access to a work van so transport isn't an issue in itself, it's now to stop them sliding around the back. And more importantly so after being refurbished.

N.B. it's a small one so all 8 won't fit on the floor of the van. I will have to stack some.

Once refurbed then - bubble wrap, thick cardboard and parcel tape - this is how a forum member delivered my 224s in the back of a delivery van all the way from Scotland

Put a blanket in the back on the floor and one in between

If the van has securing fittings stack them on way there and rachet strap them down on return same again but with bubble wrap in between

Some good ideas, hadn't considered the carpet/fabric option. Unfortunately no securing rails or any areas that I could fit/secure wheels with ratchets. Thanks for your help guys

Old T-shirts work well over faces to stop rims knocking together .

Get two pieces of CSL Timber (3x2) and lay them parallel on the floor about 4-5 inches apart. Stand the wheels up on their rims and the wood will stop them rolling about. Pack in between the wheels with rags or bubble wrap to stop them rattling on the way there or chipping on the way back from the refurb Co.
I've done this and had 12 wheels in an estate car (3 rows of 4)
