How to remove the ///M door sill protector?

Is there a special trick or do they just pop off?
I don't want to bend them, any advice is welcome.

But as taken mine off loads due to replacing and when at detailers or garages ( prevent scratching)

I simply get a finger along back edge and gently lift up as 4 poppers hold them in place
So may need new as tend to be brittle
