Hi All,

I'm looking to replace my salmon red relay 'secondary Air pump relay' It looks like this relay is located behind the glovebox around the same area as the fuse box. I can get to the fusebox fine but I'm guessing you need to remove more trim to get to the relays? Does anyone know the trim I need to remove and a how to ?

Cheers

not sure what you need to remove, but the glove box is held in with about a 12 screws, its not a big job to remove it

Thanks for the info Taz.

I got the Glovebox out which was pretty easy :) but.......it seems the relay I wish to replace is plugged into the back of the fuse panel! not sure how to get behind there or how to pull the fuse box out. Any idea's anyone?

Cheers

Any idea's anyone?

I wish I knew how long ago this post was posted because I’m pretty much in the same boat. Anybody who runs across this looking for the answer hopefully someone has answered me on my post which is How to remove the fuse box completely to gain access to the relay switches on the back.

You're going to have to lift up and move the fusebox out of the way to be able to turn it. In that video you see the little 'nub' on the bottom of the fusebox, that's what it uses to sit in place. You cannot completely take it off, so you're limited on space but that's the only way

Yes, that is the best video. For me it turns out that the a former owner apparently glued along the piece you are suppose to push up on (see pict) 😞 so I turned upside down and stuck my feet out the window. Lol. I was able to get on the other side of the panel enough to disconnect it without removing the interior plastic panel in the pict. Unfortunately they were not the relays I was looking for. But I tested those and they are all good.
