How to remove dings in body panel

Maybe my bodywork is too highly polished? But the hot plastic glue just wouldn't stick even bought some so called specialized glue and that didn't stick either :thumbsdown: I bought the kit out of desperation as I live quite rural and no dent removal companies could be arsed to drive out to me. :thumbsdown:
 
I have a ceramic polish on mine so perhaps the glue wouldn't stick either.

I principal it should work if you can get the glue to work. For £20 it was worth a try.
 
Yes, I tried a little white sprit to remove wax or polymers, but still just wouldn't hold, tried leaving the glue for an hour to cure , but no joy.
I did find a glue that worked really well when I experimented on a dent in yhe wing of my van......pulled the dent out a treat, but also pulled of the paint.......warning......don't try using superglue!!! Double warning....don't out of desperation to remove superglue from body work use nail varnish remover.........it also takes off your top coat :headbang:......

I like your style, young man! (I don't like how messy your 'man room' is though)! :D
If I lived in 'deepest, darkest Wales', I would offer to come round and build some proper shelving. But I don't so I'm not gonna!
 
Well it's been a while, one repairer contacted didn't reply, another just failed to turn up to give me a price. Yesterday recommended a guy who works for Dent Devils and also for himself occasionally if you know what I mean :roll:

Phoned at 10am today and by 11am he was at the door, within 30 mins two small pea sized but quite deep dents were removed and you can't see where they were. Perfect job for £80 and well pleased.
