does anyone know how to change these clips that the bumper clip on to?

I am trying to change the bumper from facelift to pre facelift on my coupe

if its the side ones i think you need to destroy them to get them off..... i need to change mine as the bumper hangs a touch low.

Interesting - are you looking to recreate the look of the concept coupe they first showed in 2005 before the facelifted models were produced in 2006?

Have to say that does look much nicer. I wonder if you could fit the prefacelift rear bumper and rear lights as well?

Doubt it on the basis the rear wings of the E86 are very different to those of the E85 but the rear of the concept coupe definately retained the look of the rear lights from the pre-facelift E85 as the photo shows.

I did this recently. The manual said destroy them.

As above I did one on rear of my E86 last year and had to cut it apart to get to off.

A lot easier to put back on.

Hi everyone just wanted to let you know it’s finally sorted looking much better. But I’ve removed the foglights and lower valance as well as the kidney grills. I think it just looks much better and it’s disappointing the kidney grills are such a fiddle to get secure, I just decided to begone with them.

Just got the fronts wheels put on this morning looking better now.

As for the grill , I use her for racing so the piece of plastic just seems a bit unnecessary and just another thing to replace.
