how to post photo's from Flickr

im having trouble getting a photo from flickr on to this web site
i hit the Img button and paste the link between the two bracket things (technical term feel free to use it) all i get is a red cross with te word image
what am i doing wrong
 
Not sure about Flikr but it might be the same principal. Photobucket already has the IMG brackets in the link so need to click the IMG button.

Hi

All I do is click the Img button in the toolbar then paste the image location (right click image on Flickr and select Copy Image Location )between them.

I have added a space after the img and ] (square bracket) to show the image link.

I post mine exactly how NormStrm does above, but techincally there's a proper way to do it that flickr insist you must do - something to do with images having to be clickable back to flickr directly (but it's a PITA IMO so I haven't bothered so far):

1. When viewing the preview of the photo, click on the "Share this" tag on the left above the photo

2. Choose the "Grab the HTML/BBCode" option

3. Change the size to whatever you want (I chose "Large 1024x683" for the one below)

4. Click the option for "BBCode" as this is what z4-forum uses

5. Copy and paste the link from the box above
