Retrofitted the CC today,two minute job for the switch but a bit longer modifying the cowling.The question is how doe's the CC work have road tested it and it works,i know that pushing the switch away from you turns it on but not sure what the button on the end of the stalk does,and how doe you increase and decrease the speed with the switch.Thanks

push away whilst set to increase
pull towards you to decrease
knock the switch up or down to cancel
brake or clutch to cancel
push the button on the end to resume your cruise speed
Cruise speed resets itself when you erm turn the ignition off

Yes just bought the switch £60.10 from Elvets in durham,the parts guy mentioned that he has had few Zed owners in ordering just the switch.The full kit is £150 so doing the cowling yourself will save you £90 so if you got a steady hand and a dremel or similar then go for it.

Are the cowel securing bolts obvious or are there some hidden?
undo the steering height adjustment lever and the screw is right there. just the one screw then just clips round the middle.

Did you have to buy the wiring loom seperately with that switch or did it come with?

Did you have to buy the wiring loom seperately with that switch or did it come with?
No - I went down the "switch only" route as my car is a pre Oct 04 car.
It cost only £60 and a few pennies from the main dealer. The switch looks better value than the extra £90 they charge for the loom and lower cowel!

There is nothing more satisfying then a mod that works fist time with no bodging!Im gonna have to do some homework on here to get the details for my Cruise fit, whenever that comes!
