My 2 cents: foot in, hand on the wheel, drop ass into seat, haul the other leg into the car. Out? Whatever works with the available space. I’ll roll out if it means avoiding door dings :lol:

I'm assuming you have electric seats. I have my seat preset 1 set to my normal driving position and my preset 3 set much further back and slightly higher. This helps me when I'm forced to park in tighter spots and can't open the door fully.

What he said, I have mine set up the same way. Turn off the ignition, press #3 and by the time I have removed the seat belt the seat is all the way back and easier to exit and enter.

I find getting in the passenger seat easier because then there is no steering wheel in the way and then climbing over into the driver's seat. Opposite transition for getting back out.

Ok, serious not serious question.

Coupe owners. Share with me your years of ownership wisdom. How the heck do you get inside without straining your neck or exit gracefully without looking like you should be taking the special bus?

I've mildly strained my neck twice in the 3 weeks I've had mine.

Whats the secret?

Hire a Lotus Elise for a day, your z4 will feel like a limousine when you get in it again

I was going to say this! When you have been trying to get into an S1 in the rain, with a very annoyed lady.. Then the Z4 is an easy enter.
