Simply buy a fence spray kit, get started and then think to yourself.....shouldn't I have moved the car off the drive first? 
Yep, you guessed it. I was that prat. And my first thought was - hope it didn't reach the zed in the garage, which was open. Now there is commitment. Forget the fact that my 530 (which is considerably more valuable) was peppered with golden fence spray. Took an age to remove with paint renovator and I now need to go over the whole car (Touring version!) with Black Hole & then Super Resin polish.
Moral of the story - never underestimate the power of wind!
